It’s time for a fresh injection. CLE Records is back with its second showcase and this one will be bigger than the first. On September 20, 2026 we’re hosting a free show at The Treelawn in the Waterloo Arts District in partnership with Cleveland Rocks: Past, Present, and Future. The music kicks off at 1pm. We’ll be shooting video and vibing with students from Ohio University who will be working with us this fall as we set-up to launch a new release push in 2027. So come out and catch some of the best local bands in Cleveland as they deliver the auditory intensity and lyrical dynamism you’ve come to expect from CLE.

Jim will be speaking at Visible Voice Books for their Drop the Needle series on Thursday, September 17, 2026. At this community listening experience Jim will be discussing an album by Cleveland legends Pere Ubu with their experimental sound and undeclared influence on the world of rock in the 1970s. Then he and the audience will listen to it together. So come by for this free event that starts at 6PM and relive some local sonic history.
